Jason Alger
Chief Financial Officer
Jason Alger joined Health Catalyst in April 2013 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Health Catalyst. Jason has a Master of Accountancy degree from Brigham Young University and is a CPA.
Neil Andersen
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Central Region
Neil Andersen joined Health Catalyst in 2011 and has served in a number of different roles during his tenure. Neil currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Health Catalyst. Prior to joining the Health Catalyst team, he was a partner at Practice Advisory Group. While there, he improved financial outcomes and the overall efficiency and productivity for many medical practices throughout Arizona. He also built and used analytical tools to monitor and direct management decisions. Prior to working at Practice Advisory Group, he worked at Grant Thornton as an IT and securities auditor. Neil holds an MBA from Brigham Young University where he also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems.
Ryan Barry
Chief Operating Officer of Professional Services
Ryan Barry joined Health Catalyst in 2018 as part of the Medicity acquisition and serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Professional Services. Ryan brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, delivering complex technology and service solutions and growing client partnerships. Ryan is dedicated to building high performing teams that drive world class client delivery and success. Ryan has held positions as the SVP of Client Success at Health Catalyst and the SVP of Client Experience at Medicity where he led the delivery of the first Statewide Health Information Exchange in the country. Additionally, Ryan began his career providing third party collections and claims processing guidance and solutions to TRICARE Military Health Facilities worldwide.
Ryan holds a BS in Health Policy and Administration from The Pennsylvania State University, a Certificate in Project Management from George Mason University and is a Project Management Institute (PMI) credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
Tarah Neujahr Bryan
Chief Marketing and Communications Officer
Tarah Neujahr Bryan, MAJMC, joined Health Catalyst in 2013 and has served as Editorial Director, Senior Vice President of Marketing, and Chief Brand and Communications Officer; she currently serves as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and a member of the Health Catalyst leadership team. Her tenure includes the company’s IPO in 2019. Prior to joining Health Catalyst, Tarah served as the Marketing Communications Director and the Foundation Executive Director at a critical access hospital, managed at an advertising agency, was the Editor and Operations Manager at an archaeology firm, and provided triage assistance and patient admissions at a Level-II Trauma Center. She has a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Nebraska and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Montana State University-Billings.
Tarah was named Silicon Slopes CMO of the Year for 2022. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Communications Chair for HIMSS-Utah. She also has conducted award-winning volunteer work for Intermountain Therapy Animals, Rotary Club, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Her pro-bono experience includes communications work for American Cancer Society, Wings Cancer Foundation, and many other non-profit organizations.
Dan Burton
Chief Executive Officer
Dan Burton serves as CEO of Health Catalyst, joining the company when it was just a three-person startup. Mr. Burton is also the co-founder of HB Ventures, the first outside equity holder in Health Catalyst. Prior to Health Catalyst and HB Ventures, Mr. Burton led the Corporate Strategy Group at Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU). He also spent eight years with Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) in strategy and marketing management roles. Before joining HP he was an associate consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, where he advised healthcare systems and technology companies. Mr. Burton holds an MBA with high distinction from Harvard University, where he was elected a George F. Baker Scholar, and a BS in economics, magna cum laude, from BYU.
Lynne L. Dossey, MPH
Senior Vice President & General Manager, West Region
Lynne Dossey joined Health Catalyst via the Vitalware acquisition in September 2020. She is currently the SVP & General Manager for the West region managing sales and client management. Lynne’s healthcare career spans almost thirty years having served in physician practice management and revenue cycle management operations roles before she spent 15 years with MedAssets (now Vizient) as an individual contributor and a regional sales and client success manager. She has a steadied career in building winning teams and driving growth having achieved General Manager of the year honors consistently. Lynne’s customer centered focus has allowed her to unify clinical and financial objectives, to advise and drive performance, and to ensure sustainable change for her partners.
Lynne received her BA in American Studies from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Master in Public Health in Health Administration from San Diego State University.
TJ Elbert
Senior Vice President, Chief Data Officer, and General Manager of the Data Platform Business Unit
TJ Elbert joined Health Catalyst in January 2019 and serves as the Senior Vice President, Chief Data Officer, and General Manager of the Data Platform Business Unit. Mr. Elbert brings over 15 years of healthcare information technology, data warehousing, and analytics experience to Health Catalyst. He came to Health Catalyst from Northwestern Medicine where he held a number of leadership roles in data warehousing and population health. Prior to Northwestern he worked as an Integration Architect at Cerner Corporation where he led a number of large health system EMR implementations and services engagements. Mr. Elbert graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He will complete his MBA and Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Iowa in December 2021.
Leslie Falk
Chief Client Success Officer
Dr. Leslie Hough Falk is the Chief Client Success Officer and a member of the Health Catalyst leadership team. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Boise State University, and an MBA and a BS in Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Green Belt Lean, and Information Privacy Professional (CIPP, CIPP/IT). Dr. Falk has a varied professional background from bedside pediatric critical care, nursing administration, medical product research & development, and education in hospital and industry settings, nursing informatics, biomedical engineering, and marketing.
Kevin Freeman
Chief Commercial Officer
Kevin Freeman came to Health Catalyst in 2020 as part of the Vitalware acquisition, bringing 20+ years of healthcare IT growth leadership experience including publicly traded, private equity, and venture-capital-backed companies. He has a successful track record of building results-driven teams, strengthening client partnerships and driving business development growth. Freeman has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Jason Jones
Chief Analytics Officer and Chief Data Science Officer
Jason Jones is passionate about achieving the Quadruple Aim through better and easier use of data in healthcare, including helping organizations to find analytic focus; helping providers feel that the systems they work for have their backs; and helping people to understand and have their goals and preferences respected for the hopefully brief periods during which they are “patients.”
Previously, Jones served as Vice President, Information Support for Care Transformation, at Kaiser Permanente (KP). In that capacity, he brought together and co-led the national Hospital and Healthplan Quality and Finance analytic functions and led development of national quality strategy and care delivery IT investments. Prior to that, he was KP’s Executive Director of Clinical Intelligence and Decision Support and a Research Scientist in KP’s Southern California region.
Before joining KP, Jones was a Senior Medical Informaticist for Intermountain Healthcare. He also held analytic and marketing positions at Bayer Healthcare in Wayne, N.J., and Ingenix (now Optum) Pharmaceutical Information Products in Salt Lake City, where he developed a model for converting United Healthcare data into a saleable asset for external customers conducting outcomes research. Throughout his career, Jones has taught graduate courses in statistics to medical informaticists at the University of Southern California and at the University of Utah. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed papers in medicine, predictive modeling, and outcomes improvement.
Shounak Lahiri
Senior Vice President, Global Solutions
Shounak Lahiri is the Senior Vice President of Global Solutions. Shounak joined Health Catalyst in 2021 in the acquisition of Twistle where he led the population-health education and awareness initiatives in India. Previous to Twistle, Shounak spent extensive time in India working in both healthcare and education. His background includes more than a decade managing the education of street children in Kolkata.
Shounak has PhD, MEng, and BSc degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Ben Landry
General Counsel
Ben Landry is the General Counsel and Secretary of the Board, with responsibility for all aspects of legal and regulatory affairs at Health Catalyst, originally joining in July 2019 as Assistant General Counsel. Landry has over 12 years of private practice and in-house legal experience, primarily focused on healthcare and information technology. Prior to joining Health Catalyst, Landry worked at athenahealth, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHN), a publicly traded healthcare IT company, for over 4 years in a variety of legal roles, including as Associate General Counsel, leading the corporate team that oversaw corporate governance, securities, mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments, international and other corporate functions. Landry helped support athenahealth’s exploration of strategic alternatives in 2018 that ultimately led to closing a private equity-backed take-private transaction in February 2019, and helped lead aspects of post-transaction integration, including athenahealth’s combination with another portfolio company owned by the acquirer.
Prior to joining athenahealth, Landry worked at a law firm in Boston for over 4 years, primarily focused on corporate, mergers & acquisitions and private equity, and worked at Raytheon Technologies Corporation (NYSE: RTX), a multinational aerospace and defense conglomerate, in the tax department. Landry received his bachelor’s degree from Boston College and his law degree from the Northeastern University School of Law.
Dan LeSueur
Chief Operating Officer
Dan LeSueur has been developing and implementing the core products and services of Health Catalyst since 2011. He started as a data architect, moved into a technical director role and is now the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Professional Services Business Unit. Prior to joining Health Catalyst, Dan owned and operated a management consultancy for five years that assisted ambulatory practices in the implementation of electronic health records and data-driven management methodologies. In this venture he served as data architect, business-intelligence developer, and strategic advisor to physicians and practice owners in the strategic management and growth of their practices. Dan holds Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Health-Sector Management from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brigham Young University.
Linda Llewelyn
Chief People Officer
Linda Llewelyn is the Chief People Officer at Health Catalyst. Linda joined Health Catalyst in June 2013 as the HR Manager. Prior to joining Health Catalyst, she worked in several industries, including medical technology, health care, and financial services in various HR leadership capacities. Linda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah.
Cathy Menkiena
Senior Vice President & General Manager, Northeast Region
Cathy Menkiena joined Health Catalyst in November 2018 and serves as the SVP & GM for the Northeast Region. Cathy brings more than three decades of healthcare expertise ranging from direct critical care nursing to successive healthcare leadership, quality improvement, information systems and consulting leadership positions. She spent 20 years in the provider setting in various roles at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center before moving into Information Technology and management consulting leadership roles.
Cathy brings extensive experience leading progressive healthcare initiatives, quality improvement, strategy, systems analysis, software implementation, and enterprise-wide process redesign and transformation in multi-entity settings. Cathy is committed to change the way healthcare is delivered through enabling technologies, analytics and innovation.
In her role as SVP and General Manager, Cathy is focused on providing data and analytics solutions for health systems and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) to enable data informed decision making for outcomes improvement and population health.
Cathy has a Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Niagara University. She is board certified in Nursing Informatics by the American Nursing Credentialling Center (ANCC) and has attained both her Fellow of American Health Care Executives (FACHE) and Fellow Health Information Management Systems Society (FHIMSS). She is a Board Member of the Healthcare Executive Forum (HEF) local ACHE chapter and the HEF Programming Committee. She serves on the Board of the NY state HIMSS Chapter and is an active member of the NY State Nursing Committee. Cathy also Co-Chairs the HIMSS National CNO/CNIO Vendor Roundtable.
Holly Rimmasch
Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer
Holly Rimmasch serves as the Chief Clinical Officer and SVP & GM, Clinical Quality Business Unit at Health Catalyst. She brings more than three decades of healthcare experience to her role, ranging from direct patient care to clinical and operational healthcare strategy and management. Key areas of accountability include clinical improvement, patient safety, quality, and population health.
Prior to joining Health Catalyst, she had many roles including the role of the Assistant VP at Intermountain Healthcare responsible for Clinical Services and the system Clinical Operations Director for Cardiovascular and Intensive Medicine. At Intermountain and Health Catalyst, Holly has held leadership roles enabling her to affect change at a system level. Holly also co-founded and was a Principal in HMS, Inc, a healthcare strategic consulting firm focusing on population health.
She has spent the last 25 years dedicated to identifying opportunities through data and analytics, implementing best practices, supporting adoption, and improving clinical, operational and financial outcomes. Holly holds a Master of Science in Adult Physiology from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University.
Britney Rosenau
Health Catalyst Senior Vice President and Allina Health Chief Analytics Officer
Britney Rosenau has dedicated her career to improving the way health systems use data and insights to deliver the care patients and communities deserve. She currently serves as the Chief Analytics Officer for Allina Health as a part of a significant partnership between Health Catalyst and Allina Health. Prior to this role Britney led Engagement Management for Health Catalyst where she helped define and operationalize a support model for client delivery. Other career experiences focused on analytics for health care improvement including Research, Quality, Regulatory and Improvement roles.
Her education is from the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a Master’s in Public Health. Minnesotan born and raised Britney spends much of her free time with family and two beautiful rescue dogs ‘Up North’.
Dave Ross
Chief Technology Officer
Dave Ross joined Health Catalyst in 2021 and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer. Dave was the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Twistle, leading all product development and engineering activities for over ten years prior to Twistle being acquired by Health Catalyst. Before starting Twistle, Dave was Director of Information Systems at Albany Medical Center in New York.
Dave is a software engineer at heart. For over twenty years, has built and led software development initiatives across healthcare and educational technology sectors. He is passionate about finding the perfect intersection between engineering excellence and delivering business value. Innovation has always been a central theme of Dave’s work, and he encourages team members to look for novel ways to continuously raise the bar and unlock hidden potential. Dave holds a BS in Information Systems from SUNY Empire State College.
Kyle Salyers
Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development
Kyle Salyers joined Health Catalyst in August, 2014 as a Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Health Catalyst, he was a Co-Founder and the Managing Director of CHV Capital, a venture capital affiliate of Indiana University Health. In addition to Health Catalyst, Kyle led CHV/ Indiana University Health’s investments in a range of healthcare IT and medical device companies, including MedVentive (acquired by McKesson), MindFrame (acquired by Covidien), Perfect Serve, NICO, NeoChord, Par8o, and Celleration. Prior to CHV Capital, he served in a number of leadership positions across government, academia, and in entrepreneurial companies, including as a Special Advisor to the President of Indiana University & Executive Director for Advancing Indiana, Investment Director & Innovation Fellow at Rose-Hulman Ventures and the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Senior Vice President of Thomas P. Miller and Associates, Vice President of the Indiana Technology Partnership, and Economic Development Manager for the City of Indianapolis, Mayor Stephen Goldsmith.
Kevin Scharnhorst
Chief Information Security Officer
Kevin is the Chief Information Security Officer at Health Catalyst. Prior to joining with Health Catalyst, he worked for Blue Cross of Idaho in Boise, Idaho as a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Development Manager and worked there for five years. Before Blue Cross of Idaho, Kevin worked in the Hi-Tech sector within e-commerce developing enabling technologies for Micron, a Semiconductor Manufacturer to sell and distribute their product portfolio to consumers. Kevin has an Associates in Political Science from BYI-Idaho, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Boise State University and a Master’s of Science in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University. He continues to teach as an Instructor at Northwestern in the Masters of Medical Informatics Program and also Computer Science at a local community college.
Jeff Selander
Senior Vice President International
Jeff Selander currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Expansion Business with focus on the employer and Asia Pacific markets. Prior to this Jeff served as the Chief People Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Health Catalyst. Prior to joining Health Catalyst, Mr. Selander was CFO at HB Ventures, a private equity firm in Boise, Idaho. Health Catalyst was Jeff’s fifth start-up as a venture finance professional, and his third as CFO. During his career, Jeff has assisted CEO’s in raising over $250 million in debt and equity from institutional investors. Before joining HB Ventures, Jeff was the CFO for Great Basin Scientific, a pre-revenue life sciences start-up. Previous to Great Basin, Jeff played several senior finance roles for iBAHN Corp., a venture-backed high-speed Internet provider to the hospitality industry. Mr. Selander holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, Boston, Massachusetts and a BA in international relations from BYU.

Anita V. Pramoda
Ms. Pramoda has served as CEO of Owned Outcomes, Inc. since 2014. Owned Outcomes, Inc. is a software company that provides analytical help to healthcare providers and payors as they seek financial sustainability in addition to clinical outcomes in patient care. She also serves as an Executive Advisor to Technology Crossover Ventures and on the boards at Dignity Health Foundation and Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (Los Angeles).
She previously served as the CFO of Epic Systems Corporation and OnTech Operations and as a board member at Allscripts. Ms. Pramoda holds a MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Dawn Smith
Dawn Smith currently serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Cologix, Inc. Prior to her time at Cologix, Dawn served as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at VMware, where she led a team of more than 150 people and was responsible for global legal, compliance and government relations. She also previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at McAfee.
Duncan Gallagher
Duncan Gallagher, President of Donegal Advisory Services, brings over 30 years of experience as an integrated health system CFO and senior management leader. His most recent role was Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and CFO of Allina Health, a $4.0 billion not-for-profit integrated health system based in Minneapolis. In his seven years as CFO at Allina Health, Gallagher was instrumental in establishing the health system as a national leader in navigating the shifting healthcare payment model from fee-for-service to one based on value and care quality. In the process, Allina demonstrated that the shift is better for patients, and can be financially viable for health system.
In 2014, Allina pioneered the outsourcing of Allina’s $10 million, 70 FTE analytics department through a unique partnership with Health Catalyst. Leveraging the intellectual property of both partners while driving sharper focus, this arrangement ties Health Catalyst’s profit from the relationship to the delivery of measurable cost savings tightly aligning Allina’s success with its that of its partner. Gallagher played a central role in the formation of this strategy and led the development and negotiation process
In 2016, Gallagher led a forward-looking strategy development process with the Allina senior management and its Board of Directors, shifting its system strategy and creating an Allina health plan serving the Twin Cities market, supported and enabled by the deep expertise and strong payor platform of its health plan partner, Aetna.
While at Allina, Gallagher was recognized by the Minneapolis Business Journal as 2016 CFO of the year. Before Allina, Gallagher spent 10 years as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating/Finance Officer with Des Moines-based Unity Point Health, a $4.1 billion integrated health system. Gallagher previously served as a Partner with KPMG. His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota, and Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
John A. Kane
John (Jack) A. Kane is on the board of athenahealth, Inc., Aesynt, Inc., Health Catalyst, Inc. , Open Tempo, Inc. and DealerPolicy LLC.
He previously occupied the position of CFO, Treasurer & Senior VP-Administration at IDX Systems Corp., Audit Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, Vice President-General Electric Healthcare at General Electric Healthcare Technologies, Inc. and Treasurer for Flynn Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to the current responsibilities, Jack has served on boards of ten other companies both private and public.
He received a graduate degree and an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.
Julie Larson-Green
Julie Larson-Green has left an indelible mark on billions of people and scores of companies over her pioneering 35+ year career. In 2015, Fast Company magazine hailed Julie as one of its Most Productive People, and the Anita Borg Institute recognized her extraordinary technology leadership achievements with their Women of Vision Leadership Award.As Microsoft’s and then Qualtrics’ first-ever Chief Experience Officer, Julie redefined the human-centered engineering and design disciplines to put people first and technology second. The global successes of Microsoft Office, Windows, Xbox and Surface, and the new Experience Management (XM) category at Qualtrics are a testament to Julie’s exceptional track record of design-led product development and inclusive leadership. Her expertise in blending human experience with technology has also redefined our experiences with the tech of tomorrow, like AI, machine learning, natural language processing and mixed reality.As an advisor, investor and board member, Julie currently helps companies successfully develop their people, products and processes to create great experiences and deliver explosive growth. As the beneficiary of positive life-long mentors, Julie is also committed to paying forward all that she’s received and learned. She is on the board of Goleadoras, a non-profit that seeks to battle gender disparity by empowering young women in personal and intuitive ways.Julie earned her Bachelor’s in Business from Western Washington University and her master’s in Computer Software Engineering from Seattle University. She lives in Bellevue, WA, with her family.
Matt Kolb
Matthew Kolb is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Carle Health. Joining Carle Health in 2014, he focuses on leading clinical operations, care transformation, and strategic growth. He has served in a variety of executive leadership positions since joining Carle. Kolb works as dyad partner with Carle’s chief medical officer to provide exceptional care and service to patients and members.
Prior to joining the leadership team at Carle, Kolb worked at Allina Health System in Minneapolis, MN, for seven years.
He received his Juris Doctor from University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, Master of Health Administration from University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and Bachelor of Arts from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
